Hello everybody i came across this video and thought the response of these Harvard students was very interesting. They were asked who they thought posed a bigger threat to world peace: USA or ISIS?Do you think their responses were accurate? Feel free to leave your opinions below
their responses were a bit shocking because you would think students would be pro-America because obviously they live here and most of those students were American. I guess some of their arguments could be true but we are definitely not the whole problem and theres no way that we are worse than ISIS. Do they even know who ISIS is? Because obviously they would be a bigger threat to world peace, they are the ones taking over innocent territory and killing people.
I can see where the students are coming from when thinking along the lines of how involved America gets in terms of other countries' political issues, but I think that tehy were incorrect in saying America is a threat to world "peace". America intends to create peace, however our officials feel that needs to be done (which is a separate issue); ISIS intends to destroy peace.
Great great comments ladies! Be careful though, are we sure America creates "peace"? We definitely talk a good game in the name of "peace", but are we really spreading peace or protecting American interests? For a peace loving country we have fought an awful lot of wars and sponsored an awful lot of coups...
Zach awesome video! I think we could take part in that conversation too! We could take on Harvard!
