Campaign Finance Reform

After watching "Big Sky, Big Money" and reading the article, it has become clear that campaign finance reform is necessary. The system allows too much corruption. The main source of corruption is 501(c)(4) groups. These groups are meant to focus on issues but are really controlling the outcome of campaigns. They are able to raise unlimited amounts of money and don't have to disclose their donors. They use "issue ads" to influence the election and large amounts of money to control the results. I believe that the best soultion would be a Constitutional Amendment to not allow 501(c)(4) groups. They only allow corruption. It would not infringe on free speech because 501(c)(4)'s are anonymous. The other option would be for them to disclose their donors to the IRS. This way corruption could be stopped by the FEC. When the donors are known there should then be a limit on how much they can donate to the groups.
