Campaign Ads

I agree with Julia. Having emotions be the strongest aspect incorporated into a campaign ad, will have the best effect on voters and the election in general. Like Julia said, an emotional ad will leave a strong impact on the viewer. The ad can leave the viewer with a positive mindset towards the acknowledged candidate with the feeling of hope in a bright future along with a sense of security. The campaign ad can also push the viewer into having a negative outlook on the opposing candidate.
This ad is a great example of an emotional campaign ad. Every viewer can easily relate to how innocent and adorable the little girl is, especially if they have children. The ad then goes onto show the girl dying, along with the rest of the country, from a nuclear bombing. Although this ad may have been a slightly harsh and cruel approach on convincing the common voter to vote a certain way, it definitely had an impact. Emotional ads also have the ability to be memorable to the viewer. For example, this campaign ad was only broadcasted once. However, it changed campaign ads forever. Campaign ads are most effective when they are built with intentional emotions for the viewer to feel.
